Facilities
The hallmark of a Groton education is the development of the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—and superior athletic facilities play a role in this process.
Although our focus has always been on developing people, not facilities, the school believes that the right athletic environment can help our student athletes achieve their goals.
Athletic Center
Interior athletic space for:
- 12 international squash courts
- 8 indoor tennis courts
- 3 indoor basketball courts
- 2 ice rinks
- renovated and expanded locker rooms
- weight and training rooms
- an elevated indoor track
- a multi-purpose/dance studio
- a four-lane, 25-yard pool
Seven athletic fields—including one artificial turf field—for:
10 outdoor tennis courts
